Site Description

Nestled in the millennial setting of Ohio Amish Country, we will be observing the Feast in a heated big top tent on the grounds of Timbercrest Campground. The venue provides lots of opportunity for togetherness, fellowship and shared meals in a festive natural environment. We provide the full spectrum of worship services with live sermons and sermonettes, Bible studies, and interactive presentations.

In previous years this satellite site served the needs of those unable to travel long distances, locals who were interested in the Feast and the elderly. We are opening up the site this year to everyone, but space will be limited and priority will be given to those with special needs.

If you want to attend a site with lots of opportunity to serve, Walnut Creek may be for you. We try to involve as many people as possible and appreciate everyone who is able and willing to serve.

Housing: The site is located on Timbercrest Campground with full RV hookup sites. You can make reservations by calling (330) 893-2720. Campers and RVs can be rented and delivered to the site at rvshare.com. There are many local bed-and-breakfast venues close to the site that can be reserved at airbnb.com. We have negotiated special rates at Wallhouse Hotel, but priority will be given to those with special needs. Finally, it must be noted that the Feast falls during fall foliage in an area ranked number three by National Geographic for fall foliage beauty. Therefore, making reservations early is important.

Activities: In addition to activities around the campfire and across the campground, the site is located in the midst of Ohio Amish country which is frequented by millions of tourists each year. Some of the must see local attractions include: Behalt (The Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center), The Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum, The World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock, Guggisburg Cheese, Lehman’s Hardware, The Farm at Walnut Creek, Keim Lumber, David Warther Carvings, Yoder’s Amish Home, Guggisberg Swiss Inn/Amish Country Riding Stable and Hershberger’s Farm & Bakery.
