Site Description
The Feast of Tabernacles for the prairies will be held in Lethbridge, Alberta. The Lethbridge area is an agricultural bread basket with its irrigation and long growing season. It is also the gateway to the southern Canadian Rocky Mountains, where you can go hiking, camping and more. Lethbridge is one of the sunniest cities in Canada, with 330 days of sunshine per year. Its river valley coulees are home to one of North America's largest urban park systems, with over 240 km of trails. With a population of 110,000, Lethbridge does not have the big city traffic problems, meaning you will be able to have a typical commute of about 20 minutes from anywhere in the city.

Activities: Lethbridge offers a wide variety of activities and sights within the city including the Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens, the longest and highest railroad bridge of its type in the world, various museums and plenty of parks, including nearby Henderson Lake Park. For those that wish more action there are escape rooms, climbing walls, hiking trails and the Colosseum which offers laser tag, nerf, airsoft, paint ball and air pistols, as well as archery.
Things to see within 1 to 1.5 hours’ drive include the Rocky Mountains, Frank Slide Interpretative Center, Waterton National Park, Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo Jump Interpretative Center, Remington Carriage Museum, Writing-On-Stone Park, Red Rock Coulee and more.
