Site Description
This year's Feast of Tabernacles on the island of St. Lucia will be celebrated in the town of Soufriere. Soufriere is a fishing village on the Caribbean Sea. Visitors love sampling the freshest fish in the islands.
The meeting hall will be at the Leisure Inn, a small hotel with enough rooms to house the local brethren. The hall capacity will hold the local brethren plus about 70 visitors. Visitors will arrange their own housing—there is a plethora of hotels, guest houses, resorts and VRBO's within driving distance to match every budget. A rental car is recommended, as most housing will not be within walking distance of the site.
Soufriere is located in close proximity to the Diamond Fall Botanical Garden and Mineral Baths, Drive-In Volcano and Sulphur Springs Park, and Soufriere Fishing Pier. It is about a 45 minute drive from the Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) in Vieux Fort. The Leisure Inn is a five-minute walk to the downtown restaurants and shops.
St. Lucia is the honeymoon capital of the Caribbean, so join us for this Feast and you will see why. This is a first-time site on the island.
